Website maintenance & care. Keep the useful details working.

An out-of-date service, a broken form or a failed update can get between your website and your next customer. We review your setup and agree a care plan for the content and technical tasks your business actually needs.

THE RIGHT STARTING POINT

Start with the website you already have.

Website care can mean occasional content changes, planned software updates or responsibility for a more involved application. Before proposing a package, we inspect the platform, access, hosting and integrations so everyone knows what can be supported.

We work with businesses in Poole, Bournemouth and across the UK. You might need someone to update a service page, test the enquiry route after a change or coordinate with a hosting provider. The plan names those responsibilities and explains how requests are handled.

WHAT WE CAN DELIVER

A care plan can bring these tasks together.

The plan is shaped around your business. Here is the work we can bring together.

01

Initial health and access review

Identify the platform, dependencies, account owners and recovery options. Record existing issues and any work needed before routine maintenance can begin.

02

Content changes

Agree an allowance or quoted scope for text, images, contact details and page updates. Keep changes aligned with approved content and check the result on relevant screen sizes.

03

Software updates and backups

Where applicable to the platform, agree update checks, backup arrangements and a recovery process. Assess important changes before applying them and document responsibility for third-party components.

04

Website and enquiry checks

Define checks for availability, important pages and forms, with monitoring where included. Identify who receives alerts and how faults are escalated.

05

Support records and handover

Keep a record of completed work and outstanding decisions. Explain access, renewal costs and what happens if you move to another provider.

AN EXAMPLE CARE REQUEST

A service change that reaches the whole journey.

Your team changes the area covered by a service. The website copy, enquiry questions and relevant page links need to agree. A scoped update includes making those edits and checking the route a visitor takes to contact you.

Illustrative maintenance request. Tasks and turnaround are agreed for your website.

  2. 02Update and check
  3. 03Record what was done

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITY

Support terms that fit the actual setup.

Supported platforms, maintenance frequency, backup retention, response targets, included hours and charges are confirmed in the proposal. Hosting, domain renewals and software licences are identified separately. Emergency recovery and major development need an agreed scope; this page does not promise round-the-clock support or unlimited changes.

BEFORE WE START

Website care questions.

Something more specific? Let’s talk

Can you maintain a website you did not build?

We can review it first. Whether we can take it on depends on the platform, access, condition and third-party dependencies. Any remedial work is explained before a maintenance plan starts.

Do you support WordPress?

We can assess a WordPress site, including its theme, plugins and hosting, before confirming support. The same review applies to other platforms; we do not assume every system can be maintained on identical terms.

Is hosting included?

Only where the proposal includes it. We can discuss your current hosting and account ownership, with migration or provider changes scoped separately if needed.

How quickly will you respond?

The support agreement sets the response targets, contact method and escalation arrangements. We agree these around your website’s needs before you commit.

THE NEXT STEP

you want to go.

Bring the question, the challenge or the unfinished brief. We’ll work out a sensible next step together.
