01 / SEO for Electricians · UK-WIDE SUPPORT

SEO for electricians. Be the name they call.

Most people looking for an electrician need a specific job done nearby: a fault found, a consumer unit replaced, an EV charger fitted. We help electricians and electrical contractors make each of those services easy to find, easy to trust and easy to book.

THE RIGHT STARTING POINT

People search for the job, not the trade.

Searches such as “EICR near me”, “EV charger installer” or “emergency electrician” each come from a different customer, with a different budget and level of urgency. A single “electrical services” page rarely answers all of them well. We map the work you want more of to the searches behind it, then give each priority service a clear page.

Trust matters as much as visibility. Before they call, visitors look for registration, insurance, reviews, photographs of real installations and a clear idea of the area you cover. We bring that evidence onto the pages where the decision is made, using only details you can confirm.

WHAT WE CAN DELIVER

SEO work built around electrical jobs.

The plan is shaped around your business. Here is the work we can bring together.

01

Service and search mapping

Identify the jobs worth growing, such as testing and certification, rewires, fault finding, consumer units or EV chargers, and the searches behind each. Decide which need their own page and which belong together.

02

Service pages that answer the call

Write or improve pages that explain the job, who it suits, what affects the price, how long it takes and which areas you cover. Add photographs of your own work and the certificates the customer will receive.

03

Google Business Profile and local search

Review your profile’s categories, services, service area, photographs and review process against your website. Keep the business name, telephone number and coverage consistent everywhere.

04

Credentials and trust signals

Show your scheme registration, insurance and guarantees accurately, with a link to the official register where one exists. Place reviews and project examples beside the enquiry route.

05

Call and enquiry tracking

Measure phone calls, WhatsApp clicks and form enquiries separately, so you can see which services and pages produce real jobs. Where you also run Google Ads, keep paid and organic results apart.

OUR WORK FOR AN ELECTRICIAN

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITY

What we need from you, and what we handle.

You tell us which jobs you want more of, the areas you cover and the registrations and guarantees you hold. We need access to your website, Google Business Profile and any analytics or advertising accounts. The proposal sets out which pages we write, which changes we make, how we report and the fee. Rankings and Maps positions cannot be guaranteed.

BEFORE WE START

SEO questions from electricians.

Something more specific? Let’s talk

Do electricians need SEO if most work comes from word of mouth?

A recommendation often still ends with a search. Someone given your name will usually look you up, and someone without a recommendation will compare the electricians they find. SEO makes sure your website and profile answer their questions when they do.

Should we have a separate page for each service?

For the jobs you most want, usually yes. An EV charger installation and an emergency fault call involve different customers and questions. Smaller related jobs can share a page. We decide from your priorities and search demand, not by default.

Can you show our NICEIC or NAPIT registration?

Yes, where you hold it. We display the scheme and registration details you supply and link to the public register so customers can check them. We will not add badges or claims you cannot verify.

Is SEO or Google Ads better for an electrician?

They do different jobs. Google Ads can bring enquiries quickly for the searches you pay for, while SEO builds visibility that continues when the budget stops. Many electricians use Ads for urgent work and SEO for planned services. We can advise on the balance.

Do you only work with electricians in Dorset?

No. Our case study is in Bournemouth and our locations are in Poole, London and Long Stratton, but we support electrical businesses across the UK. Local search work is always planned around the areas you actually cover.

THE NEXT STEP

you want to go.

Bring the question, the challenge or the unfinished brief. We’ll work out a sensible next step together.
